...the power and broad interpretive style of a Bette Midler or Barbra Streisand... Sandy Cash has a very special gift, that more than a singer, she is an excellent storyteller.

Recent Headlines:

My song "Elsa Einstein Explains" was recently featured as part of an academic conference held at Albert Einstein's summer home in Caputh, Germany, which now serves as a museum. The song, which describes what life was like for Elsa, Albert's second wife, will appear on my next album.

I'm in rehearsal with a dynamite vocal trio made up of me, Adina Feldman, and Sagit Lifschitz! Together with musical director Judy Lewis (Israel's first lady of jazz fusion) we're calling ourselves THE HOT MAMAS. The Hot Mamas cabaret celebrates the trials, the triumphs, and the unlimited possibilities of grown-up women who refuse to be Photoshopped (though we'll go shopping at any time!).

The Performing Arts Center of MetroWest in Framingham, MA included my song, "Survival of the Fittest" in their original musical, "Holiday Revelry." A big thanks to director Betty Lehrman for this honor. There's a great picture of the girls belting out my tune here.

I got down at the Galilee as part of the 2008 Jacob's Ladder Folk Festival! Video here.

"Survival of the Fittest" has been chosen to be part of the upcoming CD by Priscilla Herdman, Anne Hills and Cindy Mangsen. If their previous work together is any indication, this is a CD not to be missed (even if I wasn't on it!).

I was proud to be part of the 2007 Falcon Ridge Folk Festival's "Emerging Artist Showcase". Read a wrap-up here.

My song, "Strangers With One Heart" is part of Warrior Girl Music's "Females on Fire" compilation CD.

Thanks for the memories! Click here for a wrap-up of my recent US tour.

Did you know that Priscilla Herdman is performing my song, "Survival of the Fittest" in concert? What an honor! Priscilla has built her reputation doing stunning covers of some of the finest songwriters in the business.

My song, "The Real Thing (A Retail Fantasy)" made it to the finals of Folk Alley's Open Mic competition in the fall of 2006. It didn't get me to the Kent State Folk Festival, but I did come in 4th in the popular vote, and registered thousands of downloads!
