January 15th, '03 Michael Freund's inspiring editorial in today's Jerusalem Post reminds me what I'm doing here. The energy in the room was electrifying, and the current seemed only to intensify as the opening of the program drew near. When, at last, the participants ascended the stage, the decibel level soared even higher, as the crowd went wild with delight, looking forward to some good, old-fashioned entertainment.
