...the power and broad interpretive style of a Bette Midler or Barbra Streisand... Sandy Cash has a very special gift, that more than a singer, she is an excellent storyteller.

Can you say ROAR?

Name:Gilad Avraham

Born: September 26, 2000
Hobbies: Drawing on walls and then denying it
Song Recommendation: "It's Alright" by Sara Hickman

This song appears on a wonderful compilation album called "Hope: Mothers Helping Mothers" which benefits Project Hope, a grassroots organization in Dorchester Massachusetts that shelters and advocates for mothers and children.

I have sung this song to every one of my children... it's especially good for fevers :-).

Quote of the week

Gilad (after bounding onto the bed): Ima, will you lie down with me?

Me: Yes.

Gilad (in an over-the-moon tone): Yaaaaay!

Me (imitating the same tone, but supplying a new vocabulary word): Happiness!

Gilad (repeating what he thought he heard): Happy Penis!

...and a guest quote from his big sister, Leora:

Ima, don't worry. Gilad is not eating the toothpaste. He's just putting it on his feet!
